Did you know, 18 years ago today, Wendy's signed a legal mandatory to serve Coke Products in all their stores. Other fast food chains also allowed such leniency to serve one or the other which would include Wendy's (until 1998, now officially Coke Products), Subway (until 2003, now officially Coke Products), Arby's (until 2006, now officially Pepsi Products), IHOP and Applebee's (both until 2012, now both in which officially serve Pepsi Products). Introducing the new Mountain Dew flavors in the Kickstart series for 2016: Blood Orange, Watermelon, Blueberry Pomegranate, and Midnight Grape. Many more new flavors were introduced to Mountain Dew's Kickstart series since it was first introduced three years ago with the original two flavors being Fruit Punch and Orange Citrus and Kickstart has become increasingly popular with Mountain Dew fans in the process. Many more new flavors are to be introRumors are going around that Dr. Pepper may come discontinued. Lets hope thats not the case for those of you Dr. Pepper drinkers. It has been one of the top soft drinks in the United States for years, having been around since 1885. Two days ago, Wal-Mart created a Twin Towers replica out of Coca-Cola boxex with the American flag behind them to remember the Twin Towers. It has been 15 years now this the unfortunate tragedy and Wal-Mart and the Coca-Cola Company have been very supportive. (published September 11, 2016)
DId you know, back in 1952, diet soda was invented. Very interesting fact!!! Three original diet drinks were Tab, Diet Rite, and Fresca. As time went on, popularity began to grow with these types or beverages. Diet Pepsi was introduced to us officially in 1964 making Pepsi one of the very first brands to vary from regular cola into diet. Now just about all the top brands such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, A&W root beer, Dr. Pepper, Orange Crush, and Snapple are made in diet as a healthier choice. Now brands such as Tab and Diet Rite, which they only make in diet and not in regular, have seen a major decrease since then. (published September 18, 2016)
As many of you can see, zero-calorie soft drinks have become increasingly popular with the Coca-Cola Company. Now several of their biggest brands are made with a zero-calorie variation including Coca-Cola Zero, Sprite Zero, Powerade Zero, Fanta Zero, Mello Yello Zero, Fuze Iced Tea Zero and many more. However, I'm sure what none of you knew is that the very first soft drink to be made in a no calorie version is Sprite, having been introduced in 1973. I find that fact quite surprising. Since Coca-Cola is it's own drink and Sprite is just a brand under tha Coca-Cola Company, you would probably think that Coca-Cola Zero was the original zero-calorie drink in the lineup. Coca-Cola Zero was only the second calorie-free drink having not been available to us until 2004. Many years after they came out with Sprite Zero. Strange but true! The other big name Coke brands such as Fanta Zero and Powerade Zero soon deemed available to all of us citizens in stores only a few years after that after the time of Coke Zero being out. If you are looking for the best tasting root beer brand, it depends on rather you drink regular or diet AND always understand the advantages and disadvantages of all the top three brands. First, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group's A&W. It is highly recommended that you drink A&W if you are someone who drinks diet soda and likes root beer, it is the most popular root beer to be made in diet. But on a negative note, the corn syrup sometimes doesn't mix right with the carbonation from the times I remember drinking it out of a bottle. Then their is Coca-Cola's Barq's Olde Tyme. An advantage would be is that is has been around since 1898 with years of awesome, top-of-the-line flavor straight out of the signiture silver can. But unlike the other top brands, Barq's is unique for having caffeine in it, as most root beer is caffeine-free. Barq's would be perfect for root beer lovers that would like to have some caffeine to help keep yourself awake, but if you need to stay away from caffeine or need a break, Barq's is advised to stay away from. Last but not least, Pepsi's Mug. Mug is recommended for those who drink regular pop because they think diet tastes gross, but if you do drink diet, you should probably stick with A&W, because even though they DO make Mug in diet, it is not nearly as popular as Dr. Pepper's A&W. Mug is very sweet tasting, which is perfect for sugar lovers but is probably a little TOO sweet for those who drink diet pop like me. So if you drink regular, Mug is the brand for you. But if you drink diet A&W is highly advised. (published October 2, 2016)
Monster has launched a new soft drink to the line entitled Mutant to compete with Pepsi's Mountain Dew. Considering Mountain Dew the top source for energy, along wtih some of the top big-name energy drinks such as Monster, Red Bull, and Rock Star, it looks like we now have another drink in the picture now with the all new Mutant Super Soda. Mutant is only the second energy-based pop brand to be made, with Mountain Dew being the first and thus far only until this year. With Mutant now invading the store shelves, it looks like Mountain Dew now has a compitition. (published October 9, 2016)
A new flavor has been added to Mountain Dew's Game Fuel lineup. Mango Heat that is. It's that time of the year again where Mountain Dew comes out with a new flavor in the series. Since 2007, Mountain Dew has been creating a new flavor in their Game Fuel Promotion every fall to promote various video games. All with the exception of Electrifying Berry, which came out in 2013 to promothe the all-new Xbox One. (published on October 16, 2016)

It gives athletes the vitamins and nutrition they need, just like the flavors in Gatorade's main series, only all-natural organic, not processed. (published October 23, 2016)
Can you believe that it's officially been a year already since Coca-Cola Life was introduced to us? Time sure goes by fast! But here's a fun fact that I bet you didn't know, Coca-Cola Life was initially introduced in 2013 in the countires of Chile and Argentina before it made its debut in the United States in the fall of 2015. It's very interesting that whie it has only been available in the United States for a year, what you know as a low calorie variation of Coca-Cola with stevia and cane sugar as sweetners, it's complete history dates back to 2013 when it was available in only the countries of Chile and Argentina. Did you know, even though Mountain Dew Code Red has been available since 2001, making it the very first successful flavor, it's legacy dates all the way back to 1988, when a very similar flavor was introduced, called Mountain Dew Red. It is rarely known of, as it was so unsuccessful that it was discontinued the same year it was introduced and available in only the state of Alabama and so poor selling that it didn't even make it outside the state. Despite having a very similar name to Code Red, this type had a totally different flavor, more of a fruit punch taste, as Code Red is a cherry-flavored Mountain Dew variation. (published November 20, 2016)
Happy birthday Dr. Pepper!! This coming up Thursday, December 1, 2016, the soft drink we all know as Dr. Pepper will officially be 131 years old, having been introduced to us on December 1, 1885; way back when soda was sold in glass bottles. Besides having such a unique flavor, Dr. Pepper has the longest history behind it than any of the other top-selling soft drink brands in the nation. (published November 27, 2016)
Here's a tidbit of information for you folks. The Coca-Cola Company has been there for almost every holiday season, and is gonna be for probably centuries to come. (published December 4, 2016)

WIll Pepsi Cherry Vanilla return this year for Valentine's Day? However, this variety was only out for a limited time only, so it is now no longer available. Mountain Dew fans, Mountain Dew cans have recently changed their colo tone. Now they are a pale color, unlike the darker green that you are probably used to seeing the regular flavor in. For those of you folks who drink the original flavor of Mountain Dew, it is now in a pale green can, in case you have been having trouble finding it. Also, if you drink a certain flavor of Mountain Dew, it is the original type, not a new flavor, as some of you might think it may be a sour green apple-flavored variety.
